Spa Etiquette
Arrival-Please arrive 15 minutes prior to appointment time as we may ask first time clients to fill out paperwork. A late arrival will determine the length of your treatment time. If you are 15 minutes or more late to your scheduled appointment, you will be asked to reschedule and a 50% service charge will be applied. Your treatment will end as scheduled, so that we may serve our next guest on time.
Communication-We value your feedback so please communicate with staff regarding room temperature, pressure, technique etc. In addition, at the time of booking your appointments, please discuss with the practitioner your preference for gentle, moderate or deep massage.
Cell Phones-Out of consideration for spa guests, and to make your session as relaxing as possible, all pagers and cell phones must be on silent or turned off.
Jewelry-We suggest that you arrange for your valuables prior to your visit with us.
Disrobing-We suggest that you undress to your level of comfort. A robe and slippers are provided and undergarments are optional. You will always be draped appropriately for all services and only the area being worked on will be exposed.
Products-A skin care analysis is included with all of our luxurious facials. Our skin and body care products feature nature’s most enriching botanical vitamins and minerals, to give you the best results the natural way. Our products are not tested on animals and are organic and vegan free.
Preparation-Waxing services require hair at least 1/4 inch in length to ensure proper removal. Pedicure, Body Polish & Body Wrap services require skin that has not been freshly shaven due to potential skin sensitivity.
Waxing and Microdermabrasion-These treatments are not performed on individuals using Acutane, Retin-A, certain other medications, current use of an exfoliate, have thin skin, undergoing radiation treatments, chemotherapy or have Rosaceae.
Medical Concerns-If you have any medical concerns please consult with your physician before visiting any spa. Dr.’s approval may be required for Pregnancy Massage as well as other modalities. We do not perform Brazilian waxing on pregnant woman. If you are expecting you may want to avoid treatments using deep pressure and heat. Please inform our staff upon scheduling your appointments if you are pregnant so that we may provide you with special comfort.
Information
Your Next Reservation-It is recommended that you reserve your next service prior to leaving the spa. Keep in mind that we do get busy on the weekends. For your convenience, standing reservations are also available.
Lunches-Lunches may be added to spa packages if requested at least 24 hours in advance for $15. SML Massage and Spa also provides signature and complimentary snacks and refreshments.
Payment-We honor all major credit cards, debit, cash, check and SML Massage and Spa gift certificates.
Pricing-All prices are subject to change without notice.
Smoking-Smoking is not permitted in our spa, however we do have an outdoor smoking area for those to utilize.
Children-To maintain a peaceful environment, children not receiving services are not permitted in the spa. Guests under 17 may receive treatments accompanied by a parent or guardian and with a signed waiver.
Private Spa Retreats/Parties-SML Massage and Spa may be reserved for your special occasion. Wine/Champagne may be brought to the spa, however the staff can not serve it. Lunch may be added for $15 per person with advance notification or you are welcome to cater. A 20% gratuity is automatically included for parties of 3 or more and/or where services received are longer then two hours.
Gift Certificates-Gift Certificates are available in any denomination and can be sent out anywhere. Gift Certificates have an expiration date which will not be extended, are non-refundable, non-transferable and may not be altered or modified. Gift Certificates may not be combined with other gift certificates or with any other offer, special or discounted service. Gift certificates may not be used on current specials, promotions and/or daily deals. Gratuity is not included unless specified. Please present your gift certificate before services are rendered.
Skin, Body & Nail Care Products-May be exchanged if unopened and unused. No refunds.

Confirmation Calls-Out of courtesy the staff may confirm your reservation 24 hrs prior at the phone number that was provided when reservation was made. In the event you can not be reached, you are expected to arrive for your scheduled reservation.
Gratuity-Gratuity is not included in individual spa services or spa packages. A 20% gratuity will be automatically included to spa parties and private spa retreats or where services received are three hours or longer.
Cancellation Policy
Single Service-Single services are held with a credit card, gift certificate or service ticket number. Please cancel prior to 24 hrs. to avoid a 50% cancellation fee. No refunds.
Spa Packages and Multiple Services -Must be pre-paid. Please cancel prior to 48 hrs. to avoid a 50% cancellation fee. No refunds.
Special Promotions-Special Promotions, Events, Offers and Daily Deals are available for advance purchase online and are generally valid for 30-60 days. Such may not be combined with gift certificates or any other offer or special. Non-transferable. Non-refundable. Cancel 24 hrs. prior to avoid a 50% cancellation fee.
Private Spa Retreats and Spa Parties-Must be pre-paid. If you need to cancel, please do so 2 weeks prior to service. Cancellation 1 week prior will result in a 50% cancellation fee. Less then 1 week will result in no refund. 20% gratuity is automatically included.
